Course Description:

E-Plan is an online database that the Alabama Emergency Response Commission uses to house the State’s Tier II Hazardous Chemical Inventories. First Responders can request access to this database for free for emergency planning and hazmat response purposes. This 4 hour seminar will cover the basics of EPCRA, reporting requirements, and how to access and use this information in E-Plan.

This four-hour seminar provides emergency responders with:
1. The knowledge and skills needed to understand the basic history and reporting requirements of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA),
2. Create an E-Plan account, and
3. Successfully access tools and utilize Tier II data.

Every attendee must bring a laptop to class. You will sign upon entering the building. There are no vending machines at this training location, so be sure to bring your own food/snacks if you want to.
