Disaster Recovery: The Strategic Overview of the Public Assistance Process for course provides an overview of disaster recovery and will provide students with the information that will assist communities and businesses to prepare for and recover from disasters. The course will provide an overview of the key topics to understand recovery and be prepared for the next disaster.

Participant Audience:
• Infrastructure systems (water, wastewater, environmental, solid waste, electric power, oil and gas, telecom, and transportation)
• Fire, public safety, law enforcement
• City and community planning, economic, housing, and urban development
• Health and social services
• Natural and cultural resource organizations
TEEX Student ID Requirement:
Participants must complete enrollment information through the TEEX student portal MGT481.
Recommended Prerequisites:
It is recommended, but not required, participants complete the Disaster Recovery Awareness (AWR408) course.
