SUMMARY:National Traffic Incident Management Responder Training (TIMs)
DESCRIPTION:Date & Time: September 15\, 2022 8:00am-4:00 pm \nTraffic Incident Management Course\nWhy this is important… Responders are being struck and killed at traffic incidents in the U.S. on average:\n•5 Firefighters each year\n•1 Law Enforcement Officer each month\n•1 Tow Truck Operator each week \nThe National TIM Responder Training Program was developed by responders for responders\, and was designed to establish the foundation for and promote consistent training of all responders to achieve the three objectives of the TIM National Unified Goal (NUG):\n•Responder Safety\n•Safe\, Quick Clearance\n•Prompt\, Reliable\, Interoperable Communications \nTIMs is a 6-hour course that includes classroom training as well as hands-on activities.
