DESCRIPTION:L0146 Homeland Security Exercise & Evaluation Program\nJanuary 14-15\, 2020\nDothan/Houston County Emergency Management Agency – Dothan\, AL\nThe Alabama Emergency Management Agency\, in conjunction with our partners at FEMA and the Dothan/Houston County EMA\, are proud to announce that the L0146 Homeland Security Exercise & Evaluation Program (HSEEP) Course will be held January 21-22\, 2020 in Clanton\, Alabama. \nINTRODUCTION:\nThe L0146 HSEEP Course is an intermediate-level course designed to describe the core principles and processes of HSEEP\, its standardized methodology\, available resources\, and practical skill development\, which will assist in developing an HSEEP consistent exercise program. \nCOURSE OBJECTIVES:\nUnderstand the role of HSEEP in National Preparedness\, and how HSEEP exercise principles and methodology support efforts across the whole community to improve our national capacity to build\, sustain\, and deliver core capabilities. \nWHO SHOULD ATTEND?\nThe target audience for this training are those involved in planning\, program management\, design and development\, conduct\, evaluation\, and improvement planning of HSEEP consistent exercises. \nPER-REQUISITES:\nIS-120.c – An Introduction to Exercises \nOther Prerequisites:\nRecommended: \nIS-130 – Exercise Evaluation and Improvement Planning \nCOURSE DATES & TIMES:\nJanuary 14-15\, 2020: 8:00AM to 5:000PM Tuesday-Wednesday. \nREGISTRATION: \nStudents will need to register for the course on the AEMA Training portal at https://portal.ema.alabama.gov/train/l0146_hseep_dothan/ \nAdditionally\, students are required to submit a FEMA Form 119-25-1\, General Admissions Application and prerequisite certificates on the first day of the course.
